3 tips against food moths
For me food moths come in bulk from outside in, as soon as a window (without fly screen) is open.
Nevertheless, I have not had a single Made anywhere for 2 years because I always close the LM firmly and set up the traps mentioned below very successfully (they are full in no time).
- Place pheromone traps (adhesive on adhesive surface), the moths are magically attracted to it overnight and remain stuck forever. If possible in the kitchen freely accessible (or attachable) set up, preferably in the vicinity of preferred foods such as flour, tea, nuts, dried animal food etc.
- Never leave food open, always carefully packed, preferably in airtight storage cans (simply metal cans with lid are not tight enough).
- Windows + doors provided with fly screens.
