Cheese Macaroni

Simple hearty week kitchen, as we like it: Cheese macaroni with brown onions and salad just delicious.
A really hearty meal, so it's nothing for the dieters or other hunger artists, grins.
ingredients
- 300 g of macaroni
- 200 g mountain cheese
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 large onions
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 50 g butter
- 1 L of milk
- Salt, pepper, peppers to taste
preparation
- The onions skin, halve and thin slices.
- Peel the garlic clove and chop very finely.
- Put the onions with butter in a pan and heat gently, fry the onions brown on a low heat, which lasts for 30 minutes. Add the garlic clove halfway through the time. In the meantime, we'll prepare everything else.
- Debark the mountain cheese and finely grate.
- In a large saucepan, bring the milk to a boil with 1 tablespoon of salt.
- Now keep an eye on the onions and milk ... not that the onions turn black and the milk says they have to leave the pot.
- Once the milk boils, add the macaroni to the milk, stirring it frequently, not overcooking or burning the milk.
- ... and stir the onions in the pan again and again ... just before the onions are over, sprinkle them with 1 tbsp. of sugar, turning the heat very high, fry the onions for a short while, sprinkle some paprika over them and add the Mix the mixture well and keep warm in a large bowl.
- The macaroni should have sucked up the milk almost completely, but still a bit oily should the whole be, if it looks too dry, rather add some milk.
- When the macaroni are cooked, that is, until they are firm, cut into small pieces about 5 cm in length with a fork and a knife in the pot.
- Put the pasta in a preheated bowl, spread the grated cheese over it and fold it in quickly.
- Completion: Arrange the cheese-noodle mixture on a preheated plate, spin the cheese-noodle mixture a few times with the black pepper grinder, add a heap of onion and enjoy with a salad.
