Chocolate almond slices (brownie cake)

Chocolate and almond slices (Brownie cake): This recipe is a must for all chocolate lovers - a super delicious, easy and wonderfully chocolate brownie cake!
Ingredients for a baking sheet (28 x 40 cm):
- 250 g butter (or 200 ml oil)
- 200 g of sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 6 eggs
- 100 g of flour
- ½ pck of baking soda
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 200 g of ground almonds (you can also take ground hazelnuts)
- 200 g roughly chopped block chocolate and dark chocolate couverture
preparation
- First the butter is creamed with the sugar until the sugar has dissolved well.
- Then the eggs are stirred in one by one, stirring each egg well for at least 30 seconds, better for about 1 minute.
- The oven is preheated to 180 degrees.
- Now mix the flour with the almonds (or hazelnuts) and the chopped chocolate, then lift the mixture in portions under the egg mass and stir well.
- Then the dough is spread evenly on the greased or baking paper lined baking tray and this pushed on the middle rail in the preheated oven.
- The baking time is about 25-30 minutes.
- After that, I let the cake cool down a bit with the oven door open, before I take it out and let it cool down further.
- The couverture is melted over a hot water bath and then spread on the cake. After being dry and firm, the brownie cake can be made into small rectangles (about 3 x 4 cm) - of course larger if you prefer! get cut.
