Clean the milk container of a coffee machine
How the coffee machine with a separate milk container again conjures wonderful and creamy milk foam!
For about 2 years I have had a coffee machine from de Longhi (primadonna). Suddenly, milk froth just did not want to come out anymore, it was always just warm milk WITHOUT foam ... taking apart and cleaning everything with Q-tips helped sometimes, after that I often had some rest. But these peace intervals were getting smaller.
That's why I descaled the milk container with the top attachment. Brought only 2 days what, again no foam came.
Have read in various forums, that possibly then a seal is defective, which would have to be replaced, would still guarantee it (we have a warranty extension).
But then a lot of the following, which also helped my children or their braces earlier:
I unscrewed the milk container, put all the pieces in a large bowl, cautiously tipped in warm to hot water and added 2 tablets of Kukident (or similar from Aldi or Lidl etc.). Let it soak overnight. The next day to build everything back together, everything completely run only with hot water, instead of milk (to clean). And then? Finally, great milk froth came about again, just like on the first day of our purchase!
My husband thanked me with a beam that I did not have to send the machine in and he did not have to give up his coffee for a few days or weeks and I could finally drink cappuccino or cafe latte again!
