Close holes in the dashboard

Everyone knows it - drilling brackets in a plastic part on the car. Reduces the price and does not look good. So how close?

Here is the tip: take an impression of the pattern. e.g. with silicone. First treat the impression site with oil, vinegar or separating wax. Then, when the "stamp" for the structure has hardened, countersink the area to be repaired with a drill bit, add silicone in the color of the part to be repaired into the countersink, remove with a spatula, press stamp for the pattern / structure, done!

Tip:

Vinegar / rinsing water, there is no silicone. Spit goes too! If necessary, tint the color of the silicone with paint from the model.
