Coconut Buzzers / Coconut Macaroons

Here is my recipe for delicious coconut bouquets / coconut macaroons.
ingredients
- 4 egg whites
- 1 pinch of salt
- 300 g of granulated sugar
- 120 g flour (handy or universal)
- 200 g coconut flakes
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
preparation
- Whip the 4 egg whites with a pinch of salt over steam a little bit, then slowly pour the granulated sugar into the mixture while stirring and pour until the mixture has warmed up.
- Remove from the water vapor, and beat in cold water (I do it in my sink) until the mass has cooled down again.
- Then stir in flour, coconut flakes, honey and vinegar and let rest for 20 minutes.
- Place small piles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with a spoon and bake for 15 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius.
- Allow to cool and into the cookie jar.
- The mass is enough for 2 baking trays, depending on the size of the piles.
