Counteract tension during ironing

Correct height at the ironing board - relieving and ergonomic. Not infrequently I noticed after a long ironing (especially those in which I had to develop pressure), in my right shoulder and on the back (shoulders pull up) slight tension. These are over since I set the height of the ironing board relatively low.

As an aid to me, I found out:

If, standing in front of the ironing board, you can place your hands flat on the ironing board with your arms outstretched, the height is just right for me. It can be when ironing, if necessary, exert good pressure or even lead the iron very relaxed on the textiles, without having to pull up in any way the arm and the corresponding shoulder. For sit-in sitting people, this should be even more relaxing or not?

However, if you perform tricky ironing (as in Patwork, for example, which I am working on) (which depends on particularly precisely sutured seams, so that the fabrics can not move), may differ from the tip and the head posture because of the table higher ...

Wish a great weekend - whether with nice or even work-like ironing ...
