Crochet casual beret

Crochet casual beret

You need

  • 2 balls of thinner cotton yarn á 50 g
  • Crochet hook No. 4,5

This is not a really warm winter cap, but a casual beanie. Mine is burgundy, she is more classic in black.

I did it that way:

  • Close 4 air stitches to the circle
  • 1st round: Crochet 11 sticks into the circle of air stitches
  • 2nd round: double the sticks = 22 tr.
  • 3rd round: double the stick = 44 tr.
  • 4th round: double every 3rd tr
  • 5th round: double every 5th tr
  • 6th round: like 5th round
  • 7th round: double every 6 tr
  • 8th round: double every 12th tr
  • then crochet rounds (all sticks) without any increase until a radius (half the diameter of the "plate") of about 23 cm is reached, that was a total of 19 rounds for me
  • Round 20: Chopsticks, always a stitch of the preliminary round over-test whether the head is sitting, otherwise, in too wide a seat in the next round a few stitches spread over, or in too tight a seat lap again and in the 20 Crochet round more chopsticks.
  • 21-23. Round: fixed stitches - ready
