Decoration with citrus peels
Of oranges or grapefruit I always cut off the top and bottom of the citrus fruits and let them dry on the windowsill. Having a carnation together is a great fly-start. When the slices are dry, I collect them in a bowl - which looks very decorative.
When wrapping gifts, I drill a small hole in the bowls and pull a bast thread through. With a few of these threads you can then make a wonderful gift decoration.
