Recently I bought fresh Williams Christ pears and then at home found that they are still quite hard and not too flavored. To add flavor to the pears, it occurred to me that I could make a delicious dessert out of it and then it became "tipsy pears with stracciatella ice cream and chocolate sauce".

These pears as described are not suitable for children, since alcohol is part of the preparation, but I think the children can make this dessert with only the cooked and not pickled pears. It will certainly taste as good as the alcoholized fruits of adults.

ingredients

  • 500 ml of water
  • 500 g of sugar
  • Per person 1 - 2 half peeled
  • 2 Williams Christ pears
  • 10 cl pear spirit
  • 1 pound of Stracciatella ice cream
  • 1 glass of chocolate sauce

For more than two people simply increase the ingredients accordingly.

preparation

  1. Make a purée sugar from the water and the sugar on the stove and let it foam. Then put the peeled and pitted half pears in the boiled glucose, bring to the boil once, turn off the heat and let the pears cool in the sugar water.
  2. Then remove the fruits and mix 150 ml of the glucose with the 10 cl pear spirit, pour over the pears and then cool for 6 hours, preferably overnight, to pull through.
  3. To prepare, then cut off a nice slice of Stracciatella ice cream, place on a plate and add one or two half pears and cover with chocolate sauce. To decorate a few mint leaves and then you can taste it!
