Guinea pig - Minimize stall odor

First, it is advisable to select a good litter. Since I have been keeping guinea pigs for 20 years now and could test a lot of litter, I can only recommend two.

First, as a bedding: pellets. These are available from various manufacturers and are actually offered in every pet shop. (NO cat litter!)

Then as a litter (NEVER use pellets as sole litter), the chips of beech granules from Chipsi (animal welfare super) cost; about 10 - 15 Euro - depending on the provider, distance and postage (I will deliver, since I do not get it here)

But it does not help alone to use this bedding. I usually distribute the pellets liberally throughout the stable, or in those places where I know exactly, here is much gepullert. (Mostly cottage, shelter, hay rack)

Then comes a good layer of animal welfare. Incidentally, this bedding can also be taken very good! Fiddling apart does not apply.

Now, the guinea pig owner should necessarily at least every 2.3 days - better daily - the pee corners / surfaces necessarily remove. Likewise hay, which lies on the ground. Because this is used as a place to sleep and toilet and not eaten. Consequences; it smells fast.

Not only does it give you good barn hygiene, it also hardly smells (except normal, for litter, food and hay) and prevents you from flying, especially in summer. Incidentally, this is developing very fast and within a few hours! Even stables, which are thoroughly cleaned every 3 days, may well get an infestation. This has nothing to do with lack of cleanliness, the critters are just simply faster!

I hope to have given some a good tip. Of course, if you have a better one, you're welcome.
