Herring hake and herring butter

A quick, delicious and hearty recipe, perhaps for Christmas, for a cold buffet for your birthday or as a cold meal with bread or fried potatoes. Or in the morning to Butterbrötchen.
ingredients
- 4 - 5 chicken fillet
- 2 - 3 medium sized eggs
- 1 medium onion (very good also red onion or shallots)
- 2 - 3 medium deli cucumbers
- 2 - 3 tablespoons rapeseed oil
- pepper
- some parsley
preparation
- Cook eggs hard. Do not use the oil (if pegs are bought in a pack) from the pack as too salty.
- Important: Dice all ingredients very finely, put everything in a bowl. Add the rapeseed oil, pepper and the finely chopped parsley. Mix everything well, ready.
This fits fresh bread or rolls or even fried potatoes.
As a variant: herring butter

- 250 g soft butter
- 1 to 2 herring fillets (depending on size
- 1 small shallot
- 1 egg
- Pepper, possibly a little salt, a little parsley
preparation
- Butter please at room temperature, so you can work well.
- Finely dice the herring fillet / s, onion, parsley and egg, too. Put everything in a higher container and puree with the blender two to three times.
- Place butter with the other ingredients in a wider container and mix well with a whisk by hand. Season with a little salt and pepper.
- You can also take salted butter. Very delicious!
