Ikea sofa covers wash themselves
As a prop master I've already gotten a lot of pieces, including Ikeaso's, dirty from the fund. I always washed the covers myself.
As a first tip; Soak the good piece of pillowcase or lampshade cover in a bucket of mild detergent and let it stand overnight to remove stains and stubborn dirt. Then wash the cover in fine or wool wash cycle at 30 degrees in the washing machine not over 40 degrees, because natural tissues shrink by moving manually at higher temperatures. If you've ever felt for a course, you'll have already made that experience.
I then pull the pillowcases in the wet state back on the pad and put them in front of the heater, on an old towel that has the effect that the covers are self-tensioning and smooth, so the costly ironing is eliminated. Have fun with your fresh sofa.
