Lay laminate (click laminate) without removing the room

When we laid laminate in the living / dining room, we had the problem that we did not know where to go with the furniture. To dismantle everything and keep it in the garage, we had no desire. In other rooms we did not have the place. That's why we made it so: All fragile, (dishes, glasses) vacated from the cabinets and placed under the cabinets and dressers furniture rolls and rolled everything to one side of the room. Of course you have to pay attention to the laying direction, the tracks must be ready to be laid from wall to wall, without furniture getting in the way.

So we had about half of the room free and could start laying. Vapor barrier film and impact sound insulation fleece we cut to the size available to us and laid, then followed the laminate boards.

Since laminate is immediately walkable and resilient, we were then able to move the furniture carefully onto the already laid laminate boards. Since the furniture was indeed on wheels, you could then conveniently down felt pads attach and remove the furniture from the rollers. Due to the felt glides (self-adhesive, very cheap from the hardware store) you could then move the furniture on the laminate with little effort and without scratches.

Then we laid vapor barrier foil and footfall sound insulation in the now vacant part of the room and attached it to the corresponding foils from the already finished section with package adhesive tape. Then we could finish laying.

Since we did not have to completely eliminate / disassemble / carry away everything, we saved a lot of time and nerves!
