Nail polish stains on clothes
A few days ago, the following happened to me: I had a machine load wash 40 ° C laundry, a bottle of pearl nail polish had stuck in my jacket pocket and of course had risen.
The worst thing was that my new black evening gown was affected.
On the internet, I learned that the very best acetone helps. But a call in the pharmacy taught me that acetone may not be sold as dangerous goods. A phone call at a dry cleanup destroyed all hope that I could ever wear the dress again.
An attempt of mine has eliminated all stains, I took nail polish remover from Rossmann (Isana - oily).
I always put some of it on a rag and rubbed the stains, they evaporated, I could not believe it.
The dress is a synthetic material by H. u. M. with elastane. Since it's black, I thought there might be lighter color, but nothing - the dress looks like it was before - unbelievable.
As it is with other fabrics, I can not say, but with black and red, nothing happened. Try it on a hidden spot first.
I thought, more than broken it can not and have had success with it.
