New candle wick
Especially with very cheap tealights, the wick often burns much faster than the wax melts, sometimes after just over 2 hours. Once the wick has burned off, wait until the wax has regained firmness. Then remove the candle from the aluminum sheath, carefully break out the metal base from the wick, so that the wax still remains. Now roll a small piece of paper together as tightly as possible, fold it down and put it through the wax from below into the hole in the wick. Cut the paper to approx. Length of the wick, light it and enjoy candlelight for a few more hours!
