Pie dumplings for cake types
I was supposed to make a cake for a birthday. I think two tiered pies are very nice, but who should eat all that? Since I came up with the idea to make the upper floor as a dummy.
I ordered a pie styrofoam dummy, lightly sprinkled it with water and dressed it with fondant. It's just as good with a solid gift box.
The advantage is that you can take home the top floor as a deco or use it several times for other cakes.
By the way, you can also make a nice chocolate cake from the dumplings. Simply attach two or three dummies with children's chocolate bars with double-sided adhesive tape and wrap the cake in a foil.
