Protect online accounts - change passwords regularly

Meanwhile, like many others, I often receive fake e-mails that apparently come from PayPal or Amazon.

Although I always have an overview of my transactions with online shops or PayPal, and immediately recognize that this is a scam because I have never ordered specified items, I change my passwords in my online accounts and also in online banking after 2 weeks.

The e-mails are so-called phishing mails, which can infect the recipient's computer (laptop, PC or tablet) with malicious software by clicking on attachments and cause great damage. Although I have been informed in all cases Amazon and PayPal about it and I have incurred no damage, but the regular change of my passwords, I feel a little more on transactions on the Internet, at least somewhat safer from the fraud, which unfortunately have increased significantly.

For passwords, I always use combinations of letters and numbers and switch between uppercase and lowercase. In addition, I regularly update my antivirus protection program.
