Remove extremely stubborn limescale
What to do if you have extremely stubborn limescale on the fixtures and really no home remedy works? The problem I had recently found with me. I moved to my friend, where the WG had dissolved.
Granted, I had taken the kitchen and never really looked under the tap (because he was already brownish ...), because there was also a Kalkansammlung. But in the bathroom I was beaten to death by lime (see the lower part of the dashboard - it's been a lot more, but I'll have to do it a second time.
The first thing I tried was a whole range of home remedies. Unfortunately, there was hardly anything to help. Maybe a little at the tap, but that's about it. I was not enough. So I got the chemical leg of Cillit Bang.
Very important: Do not make the same mistake as me and try to handle the stuff without gloves. It itches and burns. So please use gloves (I did it then). And open the window if you have one.
Have the stuff then used according to instructions. Speak sprayed, distributed (I was with ner old toothbrush in the corridors) and 5 minutes to act. Then rinse off. Lo and behold: it was gone (except, as I said in the bathroom, down to the faucets, for whatever reason ... perhaps too little incorporated).
I know the environment does not thank you, but I think when you reach for the chemical leg, maaal, it should not be that dramatic. So do not complain so much.
