Crunchy potato chips from the oven

So, now comes a recipe for home-made crispy chips from the oven, this time the potato slices are previously marinated in a dressing.

ingredients

  • Potato peeled or unpeeled in a thin dish
  • 2-3 tsp paprika powder
  • a little salt, about 1/2 tsp
  • garlic powder
  • 150-200 ml balsamic
  • some oil for the sheet

  • Baking sheet with baking paper

preparation

  1. The potatoes are peeled or unpeeled, as you like, with the vegetable slicer cut into thin slices.
  2. Balsamic, paprika and a little salt are mixed in a bowl.
  3. Preheat oven to 150 degrees.
  4. Mix the potato slices nicely in the dressing, so that all slices are well soaked or marinated.
  5. Place the potato slices side by side on top of one or several baking trays, so that they are not on top of each other. The baking paper should be brushed a little bit with oil beforehand so that the slices do not stick later.
  6. Then they are in the oven for about 30-45 minutes (depending on the oven). I had always set the alarm clock for 15 minutes and regularly looked for the chips, they turned 1-2 times. When you see them starting to buckle and getting dry, it's best to stick around and watch out so they do not get too dark. This is very fast and they do not taste good then.
  7. Shortly before the end, I spiced the chips with garlic powder and salted a bit.

I really liked it with sour cream.

Depending on how many potatoes you use, the amount of dressing varies as well. I had the amount given above for 1 big potato.
