Simply chorn cherries more easily

As cherry time is back, I talked with a friend about the annoying stone removal. Entsteiner are not a big help, because you have to press several times on most devices until the stone sometime (sometimes under some injection molding) flutscht out the bottom. The cherries are then zermatscht and half the house is sprayed.

He gave me the tip that his grandmother pitted cherries with a hairpin (see picture). Hold the hairpin at the ends with your thumb and forefinger and drive your bow into the cherry. Best on the stalk. Then you drive along the stone to its end (you can feel it) and pull it out of the cherry.

This requires little practice, the one or the other stone snaps at the beginning maybe even over the table, but already after a short time that flutters correctly. No mess or chopped cherries!

Tip on the edge: as the ends of the hairpin start to prick over time, you can put them on a cork. Also, it does not slip like that when the cherries are a bit juicier :-)
