Fast pound cake with cherries

ingredients
- 250 g of butter or margarine
- 250 g of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 1 baking powder
- 500g flour
- 1/8 l of milk
- 1 glass of cherries
- 1 packet of chocolate sprinkles or chocolate chips (about 100 g)
- possibly powdered sugar or cake icing (couverture or similar)
preparation
- Stir butter, eggs and sugar until foamy, add flour (mix with baking powder) and milk.
- Carefully lift the drained cherries and the chocolate grated cheese under the dough.
- Pour into a greased (or lined with baking paper) springform pan and bake at about 180 - 200 degrees for about 1 hour.
- If you like, you can spread a chocolate icing on top of the still hot cake or just some hazelnut nougat cream with some chocolate or sugar sprinkles over it. You can also just sprinkle icing sugar and sprinkle over it or just leave it like that. The imagination knows no limits.
