Horsetail for healthy plants and mold-free soil

Horsetail / field horsetail is known to everyone, some only as annoying permanent (un) herb. But it can also be very useful. In order to protect its plants from all sorts of pests and to keep the soil mold-free, you can prepare an infusion or tea from horsetail.

Add the cabbage to a saucepan and pour water, the herb is boiled and filtered for 15-20 minutes. Then the preparation is allowed to cool and added to the irrigation water.

The dissolved in the liquid active ingredients of the horsetail (especially the silica) strengthen the cells of the plants and makes them more resistant, the plant can regenerate, also the tea is fungicidal and prevents mold from the earth or kills existing mold.

The infusion is also used for spraying against mildew.

For the garden it is worthwhile to make a manure of horsetail, while a bucket or a larger vessel filled with horsetail and fermented for about 2 weeks.

If you do not have the opportunity to collect horsetail, you can buy it dry at the pharmacy for a little money.
