Dough:
- 2 cups of cream

- 4 eggs
- 300 g of flour
- 1 P. baking powder

- 125 g of butter
- 200 g of sugar
- 4 tablespoons cream
- 200 g of almonds planed
preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C convection.
- For the dough, whip the cream a little, then add the sugar and eggs one at a time and beat until frothy.
- Mix baking soda and flour, sift into the mass and fold. Spread the dough on a greased and floured baking sheet covered with baking paper.
- Bake at 180 ° C for approx. 10-12 minutes until the surface becomes slightly brownish.
- In the meantime prepare the topping as follows:
- Bring butter, sugar and cream to a boil, stir in the almonds and spread this mixture on top of the pre-baked dough. Bake for another 12-15 minutes until the surface is crispy and lightly browned.
- The cake tastes especially good when it is still slightly warm. You can also heat it in portions again at 50-80 ° C in the oven for a few minutes. If it is only one piece, then it also does the bread roll attachment on the toaster, saves energy.
