Remove polystyrene adhesive from walls and ceilings

After having more than tormented myself with polystyrene adhesive on walls and ceilings and then by chance found a means that works - I mean really works - I feel almost obligated to share it. The solution is called water vapor.

After we have already made the many wallpaper layers big problems (old house, old wallpaper, underground lime sand plaster), a hardware store employee has made me aware of the steam wallpaper diverter. After he had worked wonders on the wallpaper, I thought in desperation that I would try it for the puss of styrofoam glue.

Many, many square meters were to be done. And behold, it worked perfectly! Hold on for 10 - 20 seconds and simply level off. Thin layers trickle down like paper and thicker layers you have to fill up a bit, but a breeze against all other possibilities.
