Slip-stopper in drawers or for glass top on coffee table
No sliding drawer inserts more! How had they annoyed me - e.g. smaller cutlery boxes that "wandered" when opened and closed. No more - thanks to anti-slip silicone pads.
Actually, they are intended for the car to fix on the dashboard small parts such as mobile phone, glasses, pens, coins or keys. This worked only conditionally, because the surface was not smooth, but structured. Big disappointment. Shelf.
Then an inspiration:
Cut out silicone pads to make the new coffee table with loose (!) Glass plate "safe to use" - photo attached.
For a pad (about 8x12 cm) I paid EUR 4.50 (in a hardware store whose name begins with B and has seven letters) - ask if the item should no longer be found directly at the cash register.
In contrast to carpet tape or adhesive strips, the pads can be reused and cleaned, the connected objects are separated without residue or damage. If you want to find a disadvantage: The pads are 3-4 mm thick.
