Knitting thread when knitting

During the knitting or crocheting process, take the stitching thread for the first row so that you can close the seam with it later.

This saves the trouble of having to sew this stop thread, as well as a usually separate thread to close the seam at the beginning.

So that the yarn does not hinder the knitting process during its knitting, wrap it in a loop around the finger, pull the last end through the loop and fasten it to the fabric with a safety pin.

So you have the thread ready at any time later - and that usually in the right color!
