Autumn liqueur with elderberries, sloes and cinnamon

The elder season starts in August and is well into September. It is completely over at the latest when the leaves fall. Even now you can still find berries. Sloes are collected from September / October to the beginning of November. From these autumnal berries, a fine liquor can be prepared, which warms from the inside.

ingredients

  • 250 g elderberries
  • 250 g of sloe
  • 2 bars of cinnamon
  • 250 g of brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of vanilla sugar
  • 1 small chili pepper red medium hot
  • 1 bottle of grain 0.7 liter

preparation

Put all the ingredients in a large glass balloon and place in the autumn sun. Do not forget to close it. Shake and spin sometimes.

After 4 weeks, sift and fill. Makes you wonderfully warm and helps with colds.

Note: Elderberries should be cooked in advance!
