Balance the humidity in the vegetable compartment
In my vegetable compartment is now always a new unused scouring sponge. (Scotch Britt). The vegetables are now without packaging and there is no longer any condensation. It does not mold so fast any more.
The sponge seems to balance the humidity climate in the vegetable compartment. It also saves the bottom of laid sheets of kitchen crepe. The scouring pad can be replaced with a new one after a while and reused after a small vinegar bath and rinsed for cleaning.
