Bettinnendecke slips - remedy

The interior of your blanket (bed interior blanket) slips? Here's how to find a remedy. Something "manual" skillfully provided.

My skinny summer blanket disappears at night towards my feet. Since my feet usually glow like a blast anyway, this is a bit unfavorable when the feet are glowing, and the shoulder / neck area is just covered with the comforter cover and it pulls.

That's how I helped myself:

  1. Take a piece of fabric with a neutral color - e.g. white (I bought something from a well-known Swedish furniture store for little money) and cut a few strips about 8-10 cm long and about 2 cm wide.
  2. Fold and sew these strips, then fold them in half to form a loop. The seam can be from sewing inside. Sew this loop together in the middle. There should be enough room for the button to fit through later.
  3. Then sew the loop to the inside of the duvet cover on the side seam. For me, I sewed the loops about 2-3 cm from the corner.
  4. Sew on a button on the side next to the duvet cover. At about the height where the loops were sewn on the outer cover.
  5. When pulling first the buttons through the tab (no, I do not quote Mike Krüger :-D) and then, as you are used to, finish.

Now, nothing should slip. Have fun and success while debugging.
