Cider too sweet or harsh? Mix!
Hesse and other Äppelwoitrinker will now turn up his nose. For everyone else this tip:
In many department stores delicious French cider (light cidery cider) is now available - in two versions: Herb (about 4% alcohol) and "lovely" (about 2%).
I always buy both varieties, then everyone can make use of his taste. Personally, I mix both varieties 1: 1, then he is just right for me.
I also do with wines that are too sweet or too sour for me - er sorry, too lovely or harsh. A rosé of white and red, e.g. is a state crime for "oenologists", but fortunately they are powerless against such crime.
