Clean the windows with black tea and lemon

Got a good tip from my grandmother:

She is cleaning the windows with black tea and lemon juice. Simply lukewarm water (5 L) into a clean bucket, brew a cup of black tea from 2 sachets, infuse for 10 minutes and squeeze out half a lemon (filter if necessary or sieve so that no pulp gets into the water). Put the tea and the lemon juice in the water and clean the windows as usual with a lint-free cloth. I rub the slices with newsprint after that. Clean all windows and glass surfaces and everything is streak-free and sparkling!

The citric acid acts against lime and the tannins from the tea dissolve nicotine and fat and form a kind of "protective shield". Since I clean the windows so, the shine lasts longer than before. I live on a busy main street and thus always have heavily soiled windows. I hope that the tip makes everyday life and cleaning easier!
