Complete broccoli - stalk you can eat

Who cooks broccoli, usually uses only the roses, the thick stem, however, often migrates into the organic waste. What I did not know: The stalk tastes very similar to kohlrabi and can simply be eaten raw (eg in a salad or simply chopped)!

The tip I received on the weekend from a cook. I tried it right away: The stalk actually tastes similar to kohlrabi - and I love kohlrabi. Maybe not all new, but for me it was a revelation :)
