Convertible plastic rear window again transparent
The few years old plastic rear window of my convertible had become so gray that you could barely see the traffic behind.
After I had already bought some sinfully expensive and allegedly also lt. Test reports very mad means for this from the auto accessory trade and never was so completely satisfied with the result, I tried it once with the things, which one already has at home in kitchen and bath ,
And what should I say? Very nice clean and again transparent was my rear window with Sidol glass ceramic & steel. The agent has, according to the correct promise on the bottle, really cleaned the disc without scratching it. Then I refreshed the cleaned disc with normal Sonax car polish and have to say. I've never looked back so well with the top down. The rain also bubbles off nicely now and the window stays clean for a long time.
Final tip: Since there are very different materials or plastic mixtures in the rear windows of car covers, try my tip on your cabriolet only once on a smaller area of inconspicuous place and only then "in full" if the sample area was good.
