Cords quickly turned: with hand mixer and whisk

It was always bad for me to twist the cord by hand. For self-made gymnastic bags, carnival costumes or similar. Now I have the bow out.

I put a wool thread around the doorknob, length variable. Then I take my hand mixer with a whisk and knot the two loose ends loosely around the whisk. At the lowest level, the thread turns very fast. When loosening the knot, the whole thing revolves around itself. DONE. With thin cotton yarn, I quickly have great colorful shoelaces. As written, you have to try the length. I'm doing that too long anyway. Cutting off is always possible.
