Credit card payment fees are usually eliminated
Since the beginning of the year for Visa or Mastercard holders the fees payable to date have been eliminated. This applies both to payments at the till and on the internet.
For example, trains will be cheaper, flights, but also tickets for events.
But if you pay with American Express or Diners Club, you must continue to pay for payments. That's because these cards are not very common.
Another change concerns unauthorized payments. The cardholder only has to pay 50 euros. So far, it was 150 euros.
It is therefore worthwhile to check the credit card statement carefully and to reclaim it from the credit card institute if the fees are unjustified.
