Drain pipe clogged? Tip for cleaning: with compressor
waste pipe as far as possible unscrewed, filled with water, with compressed air (from compressor, about 8 bar, caution: eyes protect!) Blown into the clogged pipe. (Sealed the pipe with a wet rag to allow pressure to build up.) After the third try, the pipe was clear.
Thereafter: re-assemble tubes, sink filled with hot water, washing powder (for washing machine) into it and the tube flushed (dissolves fat residues).
Another tip: Tipping down a bottle of Coca Cola (in the drain, not in the mouth!). Allow a few hours to work. The acid in the cola is said to slowly dissolve the leftovers that clog the tube.
