"Green sauce"
ingredients
- 2 cups of 125 g organic yoghurt (for example from Aldi)
- 1 cup of Créme fraiche (125 g by Aldi)
- 2 packs of frozen and finely chopped 8-herbs (by Aldi), à 75 g or, if not available, chives and parsley
- 3 heaped teaspoon horseradish (vegetable or table horseradish, no cream horseradish)
- 3 heaped teaspoon medium hot mustard (for example Bautzner mustard)
preparation
- Put yogurt and creme fraiche in a bowl
- Add crème fraîche, mustard, horseradish and finely chopped herbs
- Season and season with salt and pepper
- Mix everything well, so that no more lumps remain of the crème fraiche
- Covered with plastic wrap, the "green sauce" keeps fresh for up to four days.
- Serve with boiled potatoes or oven cold potato wedges.
- These include hard-boiled eggs, fish fingers, boiled and fried fish or poultry.
