Give away original USB sticks
A great gift idea for friends, relatives or just to keep yourself: original USB sticks!
Since my daughter's girlfriend's birthday next week and she is on retro deco and also set up her room in shabby and retro look, I've thought of the following gift for her. My daughter liked the idea and so I got down to work.
For this you need an old cassette, hot glue gun or strong glue, small screwdriver and of course a flat USB stick.
This is how it's done:
- With the cassette you must pay attention that the outside has screws, because there are some that do not have screws and you can not open then.
- If you do not have tapes anymore, you can find them at flea markets or ask friends or neighbors, somewhere you can find such a thing.
- First, screw on the cassette with the screwdriver, the screws are very small. Then you remove the tapes, one band should pick up, the other one can dispose of, because that has no more space inside.
- Since the lower part of the cassette has three open spots where the tapes were, I chose the left side and broke off a small piece of plastic so that the stick has room. You can romp inside, break off what needs to be canceled, since you will not see it later, when the cassette is closed again.
- If you have found the right place at the end, you stuck the USB stick with the glue firmly, put the one put aside tape back in and then close the cassette carefully again with the screws. Your original stick is ready.
- On the stick my daughter wants to load some funny pictures of the two, maybe a slideshow and of course her friend's favorite music is still coming up. I now found the result so great that I will do one more for myself, I would also be happy about such a gift.
- The second bullion stick that you can see in the photo is just another alternative for people who do not like the retro style. It is a gold bar stick, there is also on the Internet to order it is written: Bank of Memory, Fine Gold 999.9, 1000 g which I also find very funny to give away. Maybe with wedding photos or favorite recipes, music, pictures, etc.
Definitely a top gift for people who do not know what to buy.
