Greek noodles as a spicy side dish

Tastes super delicious to baked sheep cheese, gyros, Bifteki etc., but also, for example. only with tzatziki and salad or just so without everything!

ingredients

  • 500 g Greek noodles (Kritharaki)
  • 1 big onion
  • Ajvar (mild or spicy, according to taste)
  • tomato paste
  • olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, paprika, chilli

preparation

  1. Cook the Greek noodles according to the package instructions in neat salted water, with a little olive oil, bite for about 12 minutes, drain and quench with cold water.
  2. While the noodles are cooking, finely chop the onion and lightly sauté in olive oil, then turn down the heat and the quenched noodles, about 1/2 glass of ajvar, about 1/2 tube of tomato paste, if necessary, a sip of water (for dilution) and spices to taste, stir everything very well and then briefly cover the lid on the lowest heat.
