Green fried eggs and green icing

For little witches and sorcerers - green fried eggs and green icing.

Which child is not enthusiastic about green fried eggs or green frosting? And it's easy.

For the fried eggs you need a red cabbage, the juice. You win this by chopping a quarter of red cabbage and cooking in a little water until the water turns red-blue. Then the vegetables are poured through a coffee filter that you only have the juice.

The eggs are separated for the eggs, the yolks remain whole.

The egg whites are mixed with 1 tablespoon of red cabbage juice, and lo and behold, it turns green.

Now heat a pan, then add some butter and oil and the green egg whites. The yolk comes on top. It looks like getting used to, but nicely toxic. You can not taste that little red cabbage juice.

Magic, right? It is a chemical reaction. Has something to do with the fact that protein is basic ...

So, and now to the green icing: You hit a protein to snow and put 8 whole coffee beans into it overnight. The next day the egg whites are green and can now be used with powdered sugar to frog green muffins. This trick comes from a Finnish friend.

I wish the moms and omis here a lot of fun in the magic with children and grandchildren!
