Homemade plum liqueur

Plum liqueur can be prepared as follows:

  1. Core 1 kilo of prunes or plums and place in a large, closable container (I borrowed a large pot from my dearest mother-in-law).
  2. 2 cinnamon sticks and 500 - 700 g sugar candy (quantity is a matter of taste, everyone does not like it so sweet).
  3. Then there are 2 bottles of grain. Cover it and let it cool for 2 - 3 weeks. Stir every few days (and possibly try).
  4. Then strain the fruit and pour it into bottles. If possible, let the liqueur ripen for another 4 weeks. Tastes really great!

And the fruits can also be recycled, e.g. to ice cream or pudding. One should let nothing spoil, right.
