Hot crispy avocado

For this unusual dish we need ripe avocados, about a half per person as an appetizer, a whole as a main course.

The avocados are peeled, cut into slices, marinated, breaded and baked in the oven.

ingredients

  • half or one soft avocado per person
  • Juice of two lemons, salt, pepper and chilli powder
  • 2 eggs
  • Breadcrumbs, plentiful

That is how it goes

  1. The avocados are gutted, peeled, cut into slices and marinated for half an hour in lemon juice, salt, pepper and chilli powder.
  2. Then you stir two eggs and tips breadcrumbs on a deep plate.
  3. You make two breading passes: Pull through the egg and crumbs, then repeat this step.
  4. Place the baking paper on a baking sheet and place the avocado slices on top and bake at 200 degrees light brown - about 18 minutes.
  5. Serve the avocado either with spicy chilli sauce or garlic mayonnaise and bread.
