Double-sided tape as a helper for accurate work

Normal wood glue does not work on plastic coated boards, of course everyone knows that. Who still needs to attach something made of wood? usually by screws, not infrequently experienced that the part to be fastened slips, often already during pre-drilling or pre-piercing. It just lacks the solid third hand again.

Remedy the trick with the double-sided tape. Fix it to one, two smaller strips on the bottom of the piece to be screwed (bar, pad, handle ...) and then marked with a pencil line exactly its position on the plate, e.g. the lower edge.

Now, the part is placed with a steady hand position exactly on the plate and pressed. During subsequent pre-drilling or direct screwing, nothing slips anymore. Especially at unfavorable working angle - e.g. Overhead - this method proves very good.
