IKEA kitchen factum - mount handles

With the kitchen system "Faktum" from IKEA you can choose the handles yourself ... but you have to assemble them yourself. Not easy, because there are no templates for the handles. With difficulty you would have to measure each spot yourself and drill the holes.

Take a thin wooden board (for example, a back wall of IKEA furniture). Cut it to the width of the drawer. The upper edge of the drawer is at the same time the upper edge of the board (template). Now draw the holes of the handles on the place where the handles on the drawer are to be later. Drill the holes. Now you put the "homemade" template on each drawer. Top edge to top edge. Left / right edges are also the same.

Now you drill through the template holes in the drawer. Kitchen front looks great afterwards, as the handles on each drawer are the same.

By the way, this can be done in a similar way to Regal Billy or others with non-existent shelf board holes and add additional holes for shelves.
