Koulourakia recipe

These delicious Koulourakias were formerly baked in Greece only for Easter. Meanwhile, they are produced every season. Especially for breakfast they are eaten with us.
ingredients
- 250 g of sugar
- 300 g of butter
- 5 eggs
- 2 pck vanilla sugar
- 2 pck. Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp deer horn salt
- 1 cup of milk
- about 1 kg of flour
- 1 egg to brush
preparation
- Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Add so much flour until the dough becomes firm, that can be up to 1 kilo of flour depending on the size of the eggs.
- Make the dough finger-thick, form 10 cm long rolls and twist into cords.
- Brush with a beaten egg and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
