Homemade orange lollipop with daisies

Time

Total preparation time: 15 min.

These delicious sweet orange lollipops with daisies can be done easily and quickly yourself!

A friend gave me a recipe for orange lollipops and I tried them yesterday and we were thrilled. For the first went very easy and the best, you know what's inside. No aroma, no additives, etc.

I admit, the daisies are not quite so successful. I probably did not push them in properly or simply washed them too long, but they were delicious for the first try anyway.

If you do not want flowers inside, you can just leave them out. I thought it was very cute as a decoration and something else, besides, daisies are very healthy and you can eat without hesitation (well washed). The flowers are full of vitamin C, potassium, calcium and magnesium.

Every now and then I make a sandwich, remove the stems, wash the flowers and lay the bread over my heads. (Always remove stalks) Tastes very good, or in the salad with pure.

Now for the actual recipe:

ingredients

  • baking paper
  • Stalks for lollipops or simple shashlik skewers
  • about 250 g of sugar
  • 6-7 tablespoons fruit juice (orange juice)
  • 1 tbsp powder or glucose

Preparation:

  1. Place the baking paper on a flat and level surface and spread a few small puffs of powdered sugar on top.
  2. Then you take a small round tube (also a tealight goes) and presses into the piles, so that a round shape is formed and the liquid sugar then later can not run. If you do not necessarily want to have it round, you can also leave the powdered sugar and just later distribute the liquid on the baking paper.
  3. Wash the flowers well and remove the stems.
  4. Now you take the skewers and put them carefully into the small hollows.
  5. All remaining ingredients are now placed in a coated pan and cooked over medium heat. Always stir well with a wooden spoon, so that the sugar spreads well and does not burn. I can not give a precise time, but you can see from the consistency when it's done. So 8-9 minutes I guess, it should be easy to cook. If it is still too liquid, just add a little more sugar.
  6. When done, then put some of it in the icing pans with one tablespoon and insert the flower.
  7. Then spread some sugar mixture on it, so that the flower sits well in the middle. Now let it dry overnight and done.

I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it is not!
