Russian chocolate sausage

Here at FM there is already a delicious recipe for chocolate sausage, which is similar, but I would like to share with you a recipe that I have from my Russian girlfriend.

The chocolate sausage is made very quickly without baking, but it takes a while to become crispy. I like to prepare it in the evening and place it overnight in the fridge.

ingredients

  • 250 g butter (1 piece)
  • 1 can of milkmaid
  • 5 teaspoons baking cocoa
  • about 70 to 80 grams of peanuts or walnuts
  • 600 g of biscuits (the ones from the Russian shop taste best, but butter biscuits also go)

preparation

  1. Fry peanuts in a pan and let cool.
  2. Crumble the biscuits so that you can still recognize small pieces.
  3. Mix the soft but not liquid butter with the biscuits well. The best way is with the hands I put on disposable gloves.
  4. Then mix in the cocoa and the milkmaid.
  5. Finally, add the cooled peanuts.
  6. Divide the mixture into four equal parts and wrap each in a cling film and form into a "sausage".
  7. Put the chocolate sausage in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  8. When it is firm, slice it and serve for coffee.
