Since in the former GDR the liqueur was expensive, we women "invented" different liqueurs ourselves, created recipes and passed them on. I would like to introduce here the recipe for the caramel liqueur.

preparation

  1. You only need 2 cans sweetened condensed milk and grain or similar. (we also took the high-proof "Schachtschnaps" - deputy for miners)
  2. The cans of condensed milk (not open) are "bubbly" bubbling in a pot of water. Cover the pot with a lid.
  3. The cooking time is 1 hour. Then remove the cans from the pot, allow to cool and open. Now a caramel has already been created and can be put in a bowl.
  4. Now only with constant stirring with the whisk or blender, the white alcohol is stirred.
  5. I have deliberately written white alcohol, because you can certainly this liqueur with white rum or similar. do.
  6. The amount of alcohol depends on how strong the liqueur should be.
  7. Chilled in a wafer or chocolate cup, this liqueur is a pleasure and worth a try.
  8. If you calculate the cooking time, the liqueur is made in 5 minutes, but unfortunately still a bit warm.
