Laundry disinfection without chemicals

It is easy to sterilize items of laundry by ironing them. Heat kills bacteria reliably and does not make them immune, as is the case with chemical disinfectants.

In the specific case, it was underwear that could only be washed at 40 degrees. Delicate pieces can be steamed (put on a damp cloth and iron over).

Contamination of the remaining laundry can be prevented by ironing the affected laundry before washing germ-free, then of course for hygienic reasons always with a damp cloth in between.

The sterility was confirmed to me by my daughter-in-law, who is MTA, in the laboratory experiment.
